Freedom Title is conveniently located in downtown Clearwater, adjacent to world-famous Clearwater Beach. Independently owned and operated, Freedom Title was founded in 1996 by Jan Knapmeyer.

Jan recognized early the explosive growth that was just beginning to occur in the Clearwater, Florida, area, and saw the need for a title services company with the highest degree of integrity, professionalism and care for the customer. She started Freedom Title with the goal of satisfying that need, and the company has been growing ever since.

In 2000, Jan was joined by a new partner, Dena Burke, a Degreed Paralegal. Dena was previously an Associate at Freedom Title, and the addition of her legal skills has been an important contribution to Freedom Title's success.

After seven years of steady expansion and the successful closing of thousands of real estate transactions, Freedom Title has set a new standard for courteous and meticulous service, with total attention to detail.
